Faith, a word that is misunderstood by so many Christians, let’s see what the bible says.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
The Lord by His Spirit reveled to me and many others that His people perish because we lack knowledge, He went on to say most of my people don’t know what Faith means to Me (God), most believe that faith in others or themselves pleases Me, it does not let me explain the way He reveled it to me.
If I say to you, I will come and paint your house at 1pm on Saturday in the natural that would automatically trigger your human faith in me,and if I called you 2hours later and said I forgot I had another appointment so I can’t come at 1pm on Saturday but I will come on Monday at 10am that automatically redirects your faith in me, there is something very important to point out here.
First your faith in me was not activated until you heard me speak/say I will, and biblical faith is exactly the same we must hear from God before our faith is triggered. He then explained to me there are five main ways I activate the faith of my people they are by My Word, My Holy Spirit, Prophecy, Dreams and Visions and they must all be confirmed by my Word (Jesus) John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2Timithy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: What are you hearing from God today are you studying His word? Are you in fellowship with Him daily? Let me encourage you with this, in order to have faith for His promises you must hear His words. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
He further said to me the word faith means (The word of the Lord came to a person) when you read My word (The Bible) and you see the word Faith read it again but replace the word faith with the word of the Lord came to and say the name of that person e.g. Hebrews 11:17 By faith (the word of the Lord that came to) Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Do you see it! Abraham placed his faith in God because of what He said in Genisis 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.
This is true Biblical Faith and how we receive the promises of God, Sela!
